Summary:
The successful candidate will work on an ESRC-funded project: If the Shoe Fits: Footwear, Identity and Transition. This project explores issues of identity and embodiment through the lens of footwear, asking how shoes contribute to identity transitions from a material culture perspective.
Duties include the day-to-day management of the project under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator and will include the gathering of qualitative data and case study work and their completion. Applicants must have a PhD in an area such as: Social Anthropology; Sociology; Material Culture Studies; Fashion Studies.
